New here- First Question

I want a short throw for my 5th gen. Ive seen short throw adapters that go for around 30-40 bucks but is that all you need to reduce the throw? I was thinking I would need a whole new shifter? THanks in advance for the help

Those short throw adapters are junk. You'll need an actual short throw kit to get any real noticeable difference.
