Engine swap

I'm sure this has been asked before, last one I read was 2 years old so here is the question: What engine would you put into a 5th gen prelude? Would you stay with a Honda/Acura engine like say the Honda Accord V6-271hp, Acura RL-300hp, Acura ZDX-300hp, Acura MDX-300hp, Acura TL-305hp? Or something else? Also I would like to keep in the question resonability, probability, ease of doing so. Also my reason for asking is that I am looking for a mini van for my girlfriend and a suv for myself and I am looking at these cars as possible parts for my 5th gen Prelude

Re: Engine swap

No V6's are going to fit without MAJOR modifications!

If your looking for a straight-forward swap, just stick to the basic H22a/1/4, and be done with it.

Re: Engine swap

unless your doign all the work your self... its gonna cost ridiculous amounts to put a v6 in.... might as well boost it yourself and have some one tune it and as twokexlv6coupe said.. be done with it

Re: Engine swap

With that much amount of money and work, minus well go with an Euro R red top with the T2W4 LSD trans.

Re: Engine swap

Hey guys, thanks for everything! I was'nt sure, I guess I was hoping for something like the guys are doing with miata, putting a mustang engine in it and such! Again thanks. I'll do just that and start by getting the engine rebuilt. I got 162k+ miles on it and it has to last me a looong time!
