Re: New Body Kit And Paint

I like the uniform paint, meaning, thank you for painting the kit the same color of the car, it looks good. Take out the front chicken wire, replace hole with fata$$ intercooler...then get custom exhaust to exit out the front side mesh.

Enjoy!

Re: New Body Kit And Paint

Looks good. I still prefer plain lip stuff because large 1-piece body kits make the car look chunky or bulky to me, but as far as body kits and overall cleanliness go, you've done a fine job. Good work :)

I prefer a simpler ride, but when body kits are properly installed they look good. I agree James on here..gotta put an intercooler on that front bumper..looks empty. ;)

Re: New Body Kit And Paint

nice and aggressive!! i like how you got it all fitted, painted to match the rest of your car and corrected any warps to the fitment, however i think it would look very nice if your put back on the OEM honeycomb grill and probably a good buff to smooth out the clear coat on the body kit to give it a nice mirror finish. just my .02.

Re: New Body Kit And Paint

Thanks guys im working on getting exhaust right now, and i will think about the honey comb grill it looks all dusty because i barely got it back from the shop and it needs to be washed. And since im not really a gear head and dont know alot of stuff about the inside of cars. Would I have to be boosted to have an intercooler or how does that work.?

Although I'm not a big fan of body kits with mesh like this yours actually looks pretty good with the new paint.. Diggin the lugs too! I have to ask though what's up with Every Word Starting With A Capital Letter?

op: not bad, at least you didn't cut any corners as most tend to do while having kits installed.

You could remove the chickenwire and at least paint it black or something - that way it doesn't look so odd.

Intercooler, according to Wiki: are widely known in automotive use as an air-to-air or air-to-liquid cooler for forced induction (turbocharged or supercharged) internal combustion engines to improve their volumetric efficiency by increasing intake air charge density through nearly isobaric (constant pressure) cooling

Small words: yeah, u kinda gotta have a turbo to get one.

Re: New Body Kit And Paint

the fit and finish of the kit is great, not my style but was well executed nonetheless.

You posted pictures and asked for feedback, you were bound to get comments. Accept the compliments, disregard the criticism, and move on. The great thing about a community is that everyone likes different mods, but still has a common love for the prelude.
