Totalled

I was rear-ended on the freeway last weekend pretty hard and my 'Lude is now totalled. =/ Luckily the chick had liability at least, now if they'll give me back what I put in to it. Thanks all for your help while I was on!

Re: Totalled

Stick around for a while or just stop in every now and then.
Sorry to hear about the lude. At least you're ok and the chick had liability.
Are you trashing the lude or maybe want to part it out once you get 50 posts?

Thanks, that's what I'm glad about, my GF is having some neck problems but hopefully nothing major. The adjuster told me they'd basically give me what a scrap yard would for it, so I'm gonna keep it and try to sell it or part it out.

You will be very happy if you part it out. It will be a PITA, but well worth it in the end.

I got $500 for my totaled Lude, scrapped the shell for $125, and made well over 2k in parts.

Re: Totalled

Sorry to revive an old thread but just an update, sold the car for $1,200 and got rid of it and collected an almost reasonable amount from insurance. Sorry for those of you wanting parts! =(

The only things I have left are a RF fender that was previously damaged and I *attempted* to straighten and an upper OEM hood bra. Also have some RSX rims I found for cheap on craigslist I was planning on re-painting and using (yea I know the price is a bit high but I gotta start somewhere haha): OEM Acura RSX Wheels / Rims and Tires
