Bosch Icon wiper blades bouncing..

So guys I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. i bought the Bosch icon I think they were (beam) and had good luck with them on my other cars but i put these my prelude and the bounce like mad and streak like mad. could i have just gotten bad blades or is this a problem with them on the preludes?

Re: Bosch Icon wiper blades bouncing..

I have the Bosch Evolution blades and haven't had a problem. Maybe just a bad fitment/install? Also a little RainX love on the windshield might help...

Re: Bosch Icon wiper blades bouncing..

Are the blades still flexing? The Bosch Icons and Rain X Latitudes are a Flex type blade meaning when you pull them off the windshield their are supposed to curve almost forming into the shape of a crescent moon. If you no longer do that then you have bad wiper blade. And if your thinking to replace the just the blade. I wouldn't recommend the Icons have special blade to fit the design of the wiper itself. I would recommend you get some Rain X Latitudes since i have had customers at job tell me they last them along time, thats why they keep on buying them.

Re: Bosch Icon wiper blades bouncing..

I always use Rain-x latitude blades with rain-x wiper solution in the reservoir bottle. During the summer I apply the rain-x solution onto the window. That usually lasts bout 6 months according to the bottle.

Try takin a wet paper towel and wipe along the blade to rid of any dirt or grim stuck onto the blade causin it to bounce?!?!

Re: Bosch Icon wiper blades bouncing..

Try giving your windshield a good wash then clean it again with rain-x or invisible glass. If you want clean streak free windows try cleaning them with vinegar water and drying them with newspapers. Grandma taught me that one
And I don't see how the blades can be the problem considering those are the wipers the storm chasers use

Re: Bosch Icon wiper blades bouncing..

I have rain x and they jump when they go back down. It's really only noticeable at high wipers speed though.

Re: Bosch Icon wiper blades bouncing..

Get Trico force. They have little spoilers to provide down force at high speeds.
