thinking of buying 5th gen

its been 2 years since i had my prelude.... my friend is selling one for $400 it needs a new engine. it is a silver sh ... dont know if i should buy it

how does the rest of the car look? there are a few options you could go with when replacing the motor. i've seen h22s go from 500-1000 on craigslist, might want to change the clutch aswell. getting a lude for around 2k is a good deal and you could sell it for more if you end up not liking it so either way its a win win situation if you want it. pics of the car would help too

That's a good but Consider the amount of money that you will need to invest in the car. Your looking at 1000 to 3000 since it the SH model parts a tad bit more expensive and a bit harder to find. Now do you have the skills and time otherwise that's more money to invest in someone to fix your ride. But if you got the skills, know how, time, and money then go for it! otherwise invest in something thats complete and running.
