Re: suspension question

It has performance springs on it I just didn't want to run into the same problem again and what brand from a personal perspective would you suggest.

Re: suspension question

From my person experience. Function forms. From others Megan, D2's, ground controls and Koni yellow set up. There's a lot of different set ups. It all depends on what you're doing with the car.

Re: suspension question

The struts are tokico blue front and rear which ive used before but the springs on it are red tightly coiled at the top and loose at the bottom i'm looking for a slight drop I don't race but I like a good stance and wish to eliminate body roll

Re: suspension question

I think all lowering springs look like that. Coilovers will help you with the drop and if you get some with the ability to dampen, that will help a little with the body roll. Strut bars and suspension upgrades like that will help you eliminate body roll also.

Re: suspension question

Don't listen to the boners that say "search!!" because those are the same guys that when you ask a question in an old thread they ask "why did you post in a year old thread!?.." plus easy questions are easy for us to answer haha. I currently have the Tein basic damper coilovers. Ordered my F2's (function&form type-2) last week. Nothing is wrong with the Teins.. They are nice for what you pay for them, just not stiff enough for what I want to do. Easiest way is to do some research and figure out what you're wanting to do and what you're looking for in a set up. I don't think you can go wrong with the F&F's type1's are reasonably priced and I've heard nothing but gpod things about them. Type-2's are a little more advanced as far as versatility. Hope this helps man.

Re: suspension question

Very true, but it's not that big of a deal. Obviously he's new and maybe this is his first forum. I can't imagine it giving PZ a good reputation when every time a new member asks a question everyone just says "SEARCH!!" haha that's just my 2 cents though.

Re: suspension question

Thanks for everyone who helped and to the users saying SEARCH which I did but this post was to question the suspension on MY car which was dropped when I bought it so I knew nothing about why it was so low I now know the previous owner used skunk2 springs for a 2" drop which is way too much. Im sure there will be a lot of post about suspension/springs but you'll only get the answer your really looking for if you ask and who better to ask then a bunch of guy/girls who have the same car.
Again thanks

Re: suspension question

^ all I know that if you want quality get good coilovers and then you can adjust height and little bit damping

Ive been happy with those BC's, which are good set. Better than what others may have told you here. People use them in track cars also.

Re: suspension question

I know exactly who's car this used to be, cause me and another friend had to change the clutch on it down in Austin during CCM(cup cake meet). He was heading back from the meet, and his car died in the middle of the road.
