K Now where cookin, it depends on the gains you want, I believe the stock size is 60mm or 62mm something like that, so you should see increase with either, if you plan on replacing the intake manifold I would go larger, but then you get into the whole Fuel injectors thing, so idk its up to you

Re: LUDE THROTTLE BODY

Honestly im not 100% sure. I know that if you go Too big it could possibly affect the ECU, and by sucking in much more air it might effect your o2. I would go with an alpha series TB though. its cheap, works great with the stock IM, and I think 66mm would be ok. as far as anything larger, idk man im sure someone else can tell you FOR SURE

why do you wanna get another TB? its pretty useless and could only be downgrade (since too big TB slows down air flow)

Re: LUDE THROTTLE BODY

honestly, a new throttle body will be completely useless without port matching the IM. its just the same diameter bottle neck. however, look at professional products for TB's. they make the best out

Re: LUDE THROTTLE BODY

Why do you want a bigger TB if you aren't going to port match the manifold? If you have money to piss away, I know most people on here can put it to good use because that's about the most useless "performance" mod you can do.

+1 on the port match... I did a 70mm S2 Alpha on our Type S build with a stock manifold port match; in order not to negatively effect performance, a port match is a must.

Port it yourself... all you need is a basic air grinder and $40 in attachments. Search youtube for diy videos and s2 has a video on their site. Its not hard at all.

If you're not porting it, there is no good brand or size other than the stock piece on the car.
