Cruise control linkage at gas pedal

I'm looking for the linkage piece(s) to connect the cruise control cable to the gas pedal in our 97 Lude. The cable and all is there and tot he best of my knowledge the actuator and everything works. It just isn't hooked up to the pedal. I tried googling the part (cruise control pedal linkage, cruise control part, cruise control bash my head against the wall because I can't find it.) but no luck. I found some full pedal assemblies but don't want to buy a whole assembly for one little part.

Even if I had a picture of what it looks like I might could make something, just not sure where it should connect. Any help/advice? I appreciate it.

And yes I know many people disable/remove the CC but this is my wife's commuter, 50 miles each way on the interstate, and she wants cruise. The boss has spoken...

Re: Cruise control linkage at gas pedal

There SHOULD be a little metal drum at the end of the cable which gets inserted into the pedal. I have a feeling the previous owner of your car simply cut the cable (the ghetto approach)

The 6th picture down (of the pictures that are actually working ) is of the cable going to the pedal, and you can just barely make out the drum.
