PLEASE HELP!

I came home from school just fine in my 5th gen, got in an hour later to go someplace else, and my car would not start, wouldn't even make an effort to start, and there was no response when I turned the key to acc mode (no lights, no radio, no clock, etc.) It's completely dead. I tried cleaning the battery terminals, replacing the old connectors with new ones, and jumping it, still NOTHING. Sounds like an ignition switch. Any other ideas?

Have the battery tested? Does the dome light come on when you open the door?

Re: PLEASE HELP!

Idk if it would be just ignition switch. I recently had the recall, but when my car would cut off because of ignition i still had power.

Re: PLEASE HELP!

if no lights are working what so ever it could be a blown battery fuse...check all the fuses!

Re: PLEASE HELP!

Main relay will let you gain power to your accessories even if its faulty, it will not let you turn on the car though.
I vote for dead battery. While having the battery tested I would also test your alternator.
