Suggested Tune-Up Given My '01 SH's History

Hey guys,

I know I started a thread about this before in the past, but want to list the history of the car as I know it, so here goes:

FACTS

I am the third owner
Previous owner bought car at 50,585 miles in Nov '08 from first owner
I bought from previous (2nd) owner at 75,693 miles in July '11
Current mileage on the car is ~77,500 miles (can you tell I don't drive much?)

I basically want a good run-down of what I should do to the car from a tune-up perspective before dumping money in it. I'm newly married, so money is a little tight for the time being.

Here's the maintenance history of the car since the 2nd (most previous) owner by mileage; owner also did regular oil changes:

51k - Timing belt, valve cover gasket, water pump, drive belt and battery replacement. Replaced rear upper strut mounts.
54k - Replaced rear shock mounts and performed wheel alignment.
69k - New tires; mount and balance + wheel alignment
71k - Replaced clutch as well as pressure plate & release bearing, as well as shift selector seals
72k - Installed urethrane upper rear strut mounts. Recommended to replace struts (but owner never did)
74k - fixed sunroof noise; mount & balanced tires; performed alignment

So long story short, what would you do? Would you replace the struts?

I was also thinking of getting new spark plugs.

Thanks in advance.

I would do it if I had the money for struts. Spark plugs, go NGK. I'm sure you'll notice a dif in gas mileage. I got an additional after changing my plugs

damn my lude has almost 100k more then yours D:

just keep basic maintenance up to date and look into struts or save up for some coilovers. i would probably change the spark plugs and maybe new injectors. oil change and brake pads wouldn't hurt either

How much do struts typically run?

jdm98lude is infamous around these parts
Re: Suggested Tune-Up Given My '01 SH's History

Distributor cap and spark plugs and wires, radiator hoses, clean iacv and egr, vtec solenoid, just minor things that it probably wont even be too bad yet.

Re: Suggested Tune-Up Given My '01 SH's History

UPDATE:

Did a thorough inspection with a tech at my local dealer (awesome dealership!). Dizzy cap and plug wires look great. This Saturday, I'm throwing on new brakes, flushing out and topping off fluids, and dropping in my new spark plugs that should (hopefully) arrive from HandA Thursday.

Last Saturday I also got tints professionally installed. They look GREAT! Turned out much better than I anticipated. I'll be sure to post progress pics soon.

Only other plans are to throw on new struts (OEM) at some point in the near future. Going to keep my Lude fairly stock while I keep her for the next few years.
