OBD problem! help!=[

Pleaseee please someone help me, i have a 97 Prelude SH with an OBD1 and a adaptor harnes that goes to the connector the prelude comes with(OBD2 plug i guess) now my problem is that my check engine light comes on whenever it feels like, but never when i turn the car on. After i turn it on and after maybe 15 to 20 mins of driving the light comes on, and when i turn the car off and turn it back on light is gone! How do i diagnose this! I looked at the sticky on the DIY section and idk if this would work on my car since i would have to have the car on for the lighte to be on, I would appreciate any help!

Re: OBD problem! help!=[

remove the step down setup and connect the ecu for it ,that way you can retrieve the code with ob2 scanner .
