Re: What is this??!!

Is there tape around your intake boot? If it's cracked and leaking at the ribbed flex area get some of the sticky strips from a tire puncture repair kit and stuff them into the ribs that are leaking. I've had good luck patching intake boots that way.

Re: What is this??!!

awesome thanks! Just making sure of everything....after running the wiring for my v2's I found several wires and even a spring loaded button that was hidden that are definatley not supposed to be there!

Yea it had a tear that goes 80% of the way around.....Im waiting on a short air but in the meantime the gorilla tape works lol thanks for the tip though!

Re: What is this??!!

Is the spring loaded butting near the radiator? It might be a hood switch. I don't know if these cars have one or not.

Re: What is this??!!

It's just a clutch resi - as already stated.

Basically to us - it says you're an automatic without us needing to look in the car :P

If you found a hidden button - our cars did not come with a hood switch. You may want to trace that out and find where it goes vs playing with an unknown button.

Re: What is this??!!

The button is inside the interior fuse box removable panel. I have started to trace it but it ends up taped in with a HUGE set of wires....gonna be a minute before I find out where this damn thing leads lol

little red button is for your alarm or something - factory.

Some have it some don't, i can't remember off the top of my head which years/models had the button to disarm or put the car in valet mode. I has something to do with that.
