Error Code p0700 and p0780 on my 5th Gen Auto Tranny

Hey guys I am just asking a question so no harsh comments needed please. Yesterday I was leaving work and when the car went to shift into 2nd it shifted rather hard. (keep in mind I am in SW FLA and it was a bit cool the past couple days) The Check Engine light came on and the D4 light blinked. I stopped and looked everything over and let it rest a few minutes and started it back up and no blinking of D4 and shifted fine the whole way home. Today on my way to work I stopped at a friend's shop and scanned it and got the p0700 and p0780 codes. The D4 light hasn't blinked since that brief moment and has shifted okay since.

Any ideas?

Just to add a thought. My friend is a mechanic and said he replaced the solenoid on a honda before and that seemed to do the trick. He thinks that could be all it needs. Reading up a bit I seen these solenoids are prone to becoming clogged and causing shift problems. Anyone agree?

Tranny might be failing. Mines slipping but doesn't throw codes. May be a bad sensor for you download the manual and test the solenoids.
