Questions on some Ebay items I want to buy.

I'm looking to replace my ugly euro taillights that came with my car when I bought it with the OEM taillights, JDM they are 300+ dollars and I really don't want to spend that much, but I found these on Ebay, my question is Do they look like the OEM ones? I saw some other and they looked like it had chrome housing but these look dull like OEM, also Good quality? What's the difference? And if they are no good why???

Also I want some fog lights, but yet again JDM they cost 350+ dollars, but I find these only 46 bucks. I heard someone saying if their plastic their no good but if their metal then they are good, how do you tell?? Also same questions for the fogs as for the tailights.

The taillights are not JDM... However, you'll be fine with those. The only difference between those and OEM are that those don't have the amber piece for the blinker, which many of us get rid of anyway. Only difference between USDM and JDM is JDM don't have the 167 bulb on the outside corners. Take the bulb out and it looks the same.

As for the fogs, I don't know about those. Usually you can tell cause the fake ones don't have the "low beam" cover over the bulb. I do see that they come with some ghetto switch panel instead of making one that looks like the stock piece... If the cover is plastic, **** it. SOme guys have them belt, others have no problems but I say be patient and wait for a deal on real JDM ones that are glass. I got mine for $125 with the harness and switch from a guy locally who sold his Lude.

What He ^^^^ Said. the rears are fine they'll be aight for you. the Fogs are cheap and Like SiSpeed said I would just wait to find a deal on some real JDM Fogs. I'Ve herd stories from some folk on the site that their Cheap Ebay fogs Melted because they were plastic. idk if the ones you are looking at are, but I bet they are Plastic

Those fogs will work just as well as authentic ones. They're the updated replicas, and the lights themselves are very well made. The wire harness will need to be modified, but that just consists of cutting one of the wires and adding different connectors.

I just installed a set of clear ones, and they work fine and look great. The only issue is the terrible quality of the switch and switch holder, but they can always be replaced with OEM parts. They also use H3C bulbs, which are harder to find than H3, but a simple modification will make them compatible with H3. There's no reason to get used JDM fogs when you can basically get the same quality for a fraction of the price.

^^^ That thread will have all the info you need.

EDIT: If you buy fogs from eBay, make sure that they come with the switch holder. If they don't, then they're the older version, which are likely to melt if you use HIDs.

Re: Questions on some Ebay items I want to buy.

I bought the yellow fogs that came with the wire harness and all, I replaced the bulbs with silverstars and they work fine, I have had them for almost a year.

I have the same tails but mine are a little more shiney on bottom and they are great. As for the fogs they seem to be just like mine just smoked or whatever. Mine are great and have been fine with great fitment and I have 6000k hid in mine. I was very happy with both of my buys but my fogs came with a good switch and harness that all hooked right up.

The v2 replicas have plastic lenses, but they'll be fine with any HIDs. The only fogs with melting issues are the v1 replicas. Just buy fogs that come with the switch holder, and you'll be good.

I don't think you can really go wrong with buying turn signals but just to make sure are these good quality?
