Car Charger

What's up guys did some searches but couldn't find anything, I purchased a dual USB charger for my Prelude so I could charge my electronics.

I bought the thing plugged it into the smoker hole/charger plug (I don't know what the technical term is, sorry) and it won't charger my products. I already ruled out that it isn't the charger itself because I tested it in another car.

What can I do to repair this problem? Is it as simple as a loose wire or does it go deeper than that? I've never removed the dashboard in my Prelude.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Car Charger

Most of the time it is a blown fuse, caused by either pluging in too many devices or when inserting or removing the charger it shorts out. Don't twist, or angle the charger when you insert it into the charge plug. I have seen things also stuck in the charge port and casuing it to short.

So check the fuse and see if it works after that.

^^Smart man. "oo lets see what happens if I stick a screwdriver in it!!!"

OP- Check the fuse(assuming you do have it plugged in all the way, and your not trying to run 16 items out of the one). Btw, how many items are you trying to run on it?
