Introduction

Hey everyone. I bought a new (to me) 2000 Prelude 5 sp. m/t in november, wanted to join a forum where I could talk about repairs, upgrades and exchange knowledge. Hope everyone here is friendly and respectful. My car is currently in the shop getting new: cam seals, tensioner, front/rear seals oil change, new rims and tints installed. None of these were immediately needed repairs, but just the same i like to start fresh, everything is done except the rims which i will be putting on today. I will take and post pics when all is said and done, looking forward to meeting you guys and seeing how my car stacks up with all of yours.

Cheers ,
PBB

Fixed.

Just kidding. I used to think preludezone was the forum where all the experienced and jaded Prelude owners went to be assholes to each other, but then I realized that pretty much all the Prelude forums were like that. Fortunately, you can use reverse psychology to get useful information out of them. Example:

Noob: "My exhaust guy said that anything over a 2.5" exhaust would kill all the back pressure in my Prelude and that I need some back pressure. He sure seems nice and experienced, and that should save me some cash, too!"

Jaded, Experienced Asshole: "Jesus Christ you and your exhaust guy are retards. A 3" exhaust has been dyno-proven to make power on our cars. What morons."

With a little bit of manipulation, you can get them to actually care enough to give good information; you just have to remember that this is how most people on the Internet actually think:

And that's about how it goes. Welcome to PZ and the Internet!

Re: Introduction

HAHA, well im not new to FORUMS however new to this one so i know theres always a few assholes and what i like to call "over zealous troll hunters" but other than that everyything is good, I do have pics, but they're all very low quality from my phone, I will be taking pictures with my HD cam when im done putting the rims and the tires on, my baby is really shaping up to my vision, just a few more small things i want to do then im done, pics later today.

**EDIT** ill probably never be done.
