winter start up

I am waiting for my VTEC gaskets to come in. I am curious if it is safe to start up the car for a warm-up with the vtec off of the car.

Lets just use a lil common sense here....

Does it sound at all safe to start the engine.... with something missing from it???

Re: winter start up

I kinda figured not the best idea. I'm new to vtec engines and was thinking it wasn't a factor if it wasn't at a certain rpm. Cabin fever setting in, I guess.

Well if your taking the phone off the car (vtech) then i think you have the wrong car! If you can't spell it I would wait for someone with experience!
