Need help lowering my car

I want to buy lowering springs. I want a decent ride because i travel in my prelude a lot. Basically what i want to know is how low is too low. should i go with a 1.75 drop or less?

I wouldn't go any lower than 1.75 on a dd... hell i think 1.5 is low enough but it's your car your call.

How do you describe a "decent ride"? Shorter springs are stiffer, so the car will ride harder...the shorter the spring, the harder the ride. That's your measure. And you'll need stiffer shocks to go with the springs, or it'll bounce, at least until you blow out the old shocks.

Not true. Tein springs 1.5" drop = comfy.
