I hear a knock/click.

Well this started happening randomly, and now it's an every day occurance when the car is warmed up. Every time I brake, and then accelerate, I hear a knock/click coming from the front driver side. The last time I heard that noise was when my passenger side's control arm snapped. I repaired it and went away. I checked the control arm and it was fine. I don't know what else might be causing the clicking sound.

Re: I hear a knock/click.

it could be your cv joint....its happening to me right now...also if you feel some vibration while braking it most likely is your cv joint...

Re: I hear a knock/click.

If you are correct about where the noise is coming from it's time to replace you driver side axle.

Okay, well if I decide to change my cv, would it be best just to to go ahead and replace both of them?

Re: I hear a knock/click.

I forget exactly, but no more than 100 bucks I'm pretty sure at autozone and they come with a lifetime warranty
