On the inside of the car is eh.. as long as you got it on a switch it can be nice during certain times...

Underneath the car is just too ricey.. i've never seen it under a prelude.. it's probably because MOST prelude owners tend to always keep the appearance mods tasteful

Plus, under the car is just wanted attention..

Bleh!

I'm calling the prelude cops, letting them know your going to rice your car out and for them to repo it.

I'm sorry I just had to. But to tell you the truth if done right ( no neon tubes are seen) they can look good.

i agreee w/ mizlude and Quick, it almost always looks very distasteful, but every now and then it can turn out to look really good. IMO it all depends on your color scheme and how they are installed.

lol, get a new stereo. If it were me, I would do a very subtle lighting setup w/ hidden bulbs. I would aim for a light output that was was easy on the eyes and hard to recongnize at first that there even was a lighting scheme. like soft fluorescent whites, blues etc. Just my opinion of course...

Pretty simple, mount all your neons where you want them.. tap all the ground wires to either a ground wire or bolt them to chassis

Then, run all the wires on the neons that are the positive side to one place.. connect them all together then run one wire from where they're all connected to where you want your switch to be...

Find a power source, for this type of thing i would prefer to run a constant power wire so you can have your lights on when you're just chillin.. in the mountains... with your girlfriend..

Then run a ground wire you want your switch.. get a lighted switch because.. well.. lighted switches are just cool

Anyway on the back of the switch there's a power input (constant power wire) there's a power output (wire that goes to your neons so they shine) and there is the ground input (the ground wire i told you to run where your switch is going to be so that your switch lights up)

Pretty much what you should do in a nutshell.. and you can use it for any type of lights also.. l.e.d bars.. halo's.. etc..

Your car is red correct? You can get red neon lights if you dont mind or you can get those cool color changing l.e.d. bars so you can change them with your mood

Hope this helps you and anyone else who might have trouble with lights and stuff out :lick:

Also, if you lived in Cali i'd just run all the wires for ya for a very small labor charge of 40 bucks - PZ discount (At my brother's shop)

If neons are done right, they can look ok. <---Note the use of the term "ok"

Most of the time, they just make the car look like a cheap strip joint. Which is fine by me if that's what you want your car to look like, who am I to dictate what you can and can't do.

But just so you know, I've never seen it done right.
