Just installed Jdm Type S seats (pics) But I need help

I've just finished installing my prelude type s seats, but I'm not sure what to do when it comes to wiring for the heated seats. Obviously my drivers seat is actually a passenger seat and vica versa, therefore the wiring harnesses are different. Has anyone figured out how to wire these up without any trouble?

And here's a few pics of the seats

Re: Just installed Jdm Type S seats (pics) But I need help

I found them on kijiji.com, from total jdm in Toronto. I got the front and rear for 670 shipping and tax included. I was surprised how good the condition of these were. I thought my old seats were in great condition considering the age of the car, but these are in even better shape.

Re: Just installed Jdm Type S seats (pics) But I need help

It can be done just cut them extend them, go under the capet if you wanna make it look all pretty.

That will consist of removing the seats again lol :/

Re: Just installed Jdm Type S seats (pics) But I need help

So do you mean that if I cut the wiring that is coming out of the floor of the car on either side and switch them and resolder it should work? I just don't understand why there are two harnesses on the drivers side and only one on the passenger side when it seems like they should just be the same for both

Unfortunately only CDM seats are heated and the JDM ones do not have the wiring or heat pads for it.

There are a couple people that have tried to retrofit the heat pads from their old seats onto the JDM ones but it takes a lot of work because you basically have to dismantle everything but it can be done.

What would the wiring on the bottom of the seats be for then? The harnesses look very similar to what was on my CDM seats, just opposite!

Re: Just installed Jdm Type S seats (pics) But I need help

Real nice seats cause I have the same one in my prelude that I bought about 2 years ago, but for a bit less. These seats don't have the heated option. The wiring you're looking at is just for the seat belt light
