Knock Sensor questions, very urgent

Knock Sensor questions, very urgent

Hi all, well after fixing a oil leak from the oil coolant o-ring, when we where putting together the car i plugged the knock sensor and the plastic part where the connector goes broke off, now it did not break off completely, you can see the little cables that connect to the screw part, my questions is, will it still work or do i have to spend about 120 bucks to buy a new one, please help out since i havent been able to move my car now 4 about 3 days now, thanks.

in the pic that am adding the part that disconected from the screw is the green part but you can see the little cables are still their

if the wires are making a good connection, it SHOULD temporarily work for the time being.

Dont spend the 120 on a new one chances are it will break to, i just bypassed mine because the old one broke and i got a new one and so did it

Check out eBay I paid 25 shipped for mine and it works fine.

mine broke when I was changing my intake manifold out. I tried 60 second epoxying it and duct tape and it still through a code. your best bet is to drive it as is, if it throws a code grab a new one

when you put it back on try glue or tape to keep the connection strong

Yea it threw codes so i was blento get one for about 40 bucks and replaced, well at least i fixed my big oil leak, thanks guys
