Thinking of changing my main seal soon.

It is the one behind the flywheel right? Because I see a small oil leak where the tranny and engine block mate. While I am under there, are there any other seals or gaskets I should change?

Have fun, that's all I gotta say. Might as well upgrade your clutch/flywheel while your in there!
If your droppin the tranny too, couldn't hurt to do the axle seals, which are possible to change with the tranny in the car, but much easier when the tranny is off.

Re: Thinking of changing my main seal soon.

Yea when I got my clutch changed I didnt have a leak but decided to change the main seal anyways since like Nick stated that if you're gonna go under that you might as well change what you can underneath so you dont have to repeat taking off the tranny n whatnot! Lucky for me my main seal came right off. turns out that my tranny seals are the ones leaking slightly. So like Nick said that thank god they're easy to change then the main seal! So when I can I'll get the tranny seals changed as well as my axles bc they done for!

Okay, sounds good! On a scale of 1-10, how difficult will it be to remove the tranny? I'm novice when it comes to things like this. I have yet to touch anything such as the tranny or engine head.
