Conversion on H22A

alrighty, ya'll like details, so here they are:

I am currently running an H22A Type S motor with the JDM harness and ECU. I want to change back to the USDM ECU, harness, and external coil because of smog precautions. These are the things I know/think I need to do:

1) change the oil pump for TDC/CKP sensors
2) dizzy
3) fuel rail and injectors

now here lies my questions... Is there anything else I will be needing to change over? or any other advice you all can give for this situation? also, what seals should I be replacing to prevent leaks? (cam seal, oil cooler ring, dizzy o-ring, valve cover gasket/bolt seals, front main seal, intake/tb gaskets are already on the list.)

This is a good time for me to do all preventative maintenance as the funds allow.

I appreciate the help.

Re: Conversion on H22A

The only difference is the length of the engine harness connectors, they reach, but don't fit on the bracket. they just kinda hang out behing the intake

Re: Conversion on H22A

Wait is the motor obd1 or obd2

You said its a h22a....

You'll need an obd2 throttle body with map on top

Re: Conversion on H22A

The motor is currently obd2, and will remain obd2. I still have all the parts from the A4 so I won't need to go searching. Will i still need to change out the oil pump?
