Quick Question on ordering F&F type 1's

So i'm about to spring for the function and form type 1's on my 97 SH and i wanted to make sure that they will bolt up to my SH without any other modifications. The only one's I've seen for sale are for the base model. I've tried to email F&F but haven't gotten any response and it's been almost a week since I've emailed them. I don't think i'll run into any problems, but i wanted to make sure with the PZ bretheren before i drop $600...

What exactly is different where it bolts up to? Will i need to buy anything additional for the install? Please help, i'm literally buying them today and i need to make sure it's the right set up.

Re: Quick Question on ordering F&F type 1's

The main difference in SH and Base suspension is the front perch on the SH struts sits about 20mm lower than the Base. So if you had a set of SH and Base front springs, the SH are slightly more narrow and a tad taller.

Since you're getting coilovers, they will fit and work fine since you're replacing the whole assembly.

I've done my share of researching this topic, when I had my 01 SH, these were the coilovers I wanted.

There are other differences in the suspension, but none that affect the way the coilovers bolt up and function. The only issues you'd run into were if you bought base springs and tried to install them on the SH strut.
