Power loss? Need Help.

Hey Guys!
I have own my car for around 7 months. It's a prelude fifth gen, my first car ever. I seriously loved it when I first bought it, and still love it now. But lately, after a few time the cel light pop up (the first time due to bad cat, the 2nd and 3th time due to low oil), I can feel the car seriously getting slower.

First, I remember when I first got the car, when I shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear pedal to the metal, the car's speed would be around 44 to 46 mph. Now it's barely 40 mph, at almost 7k rpm.

Second, There were one time that I were driving on high way at 2pm. I decided to test the max speed of the car. After pedal to the metal, the fuel got cut off at 120 mph, not 140 mph like it is suppose to.

Third, when the engine kick in vtec, it doesn't pull as hard as before.

The car mileage is 157k. The engine oil level is almost max. I haven't done the appointed timing belt (that is suppose to be made at 180k I think) job yet.

I also got poor gas mileage. Usually vary from 19 to 21, and this is killing me.

Any suggestion?

Hmm, you could try not to push your car too much, you'll just end up making it worse. You can try putting 1/3 or 1/2 of seafoam into a full tank of gas to help clean some build-up inside, it might help with cleaning the injectors and small build up.
You said you had low oil before filling up again, check for oil leaks.
Also, if you haven't replaced the sparkplugs, replace them with NGK Iridium IX plugs, only NGK.
As for the vtec, remove the vtec solenoid and check the gasket screen and solenoid for any oil sludge that might be blocking oil flow.
If you attempt to remove your solenoid, here is a photo of what it will look like. (This was an after photo of cleaning.)

Where the black line runs is the gasket which is not shown in the photo, but where the arrow is is the location of the screen.

Re: Power loss? Need Help.

Stop hitting vtext and stop putting the pedal to he floor will help your mpg.

Your low oil problem needs to be fixed or checked more often. There is more you need to do as well I will suggest searching on regular maintenance.

Thanks for your advice. I already tried the seafoam in the past. Didn't notice the difference. Guess I'll give it another try.

I hit Vtec like 2 times a week. I'm not really pushing the car. It's just sometimes you got the urge to get to see if the car is really operate like it is supposed to. When I calculate the mileage, I didn't used Vtec at all, and usually slap-shift it at very low rpm.
