Tein Basis?

I was looking to get some Tein Basic Coilovers and found this site on a post. The webpage says: "The Street Basis damper is the evolution of the popular BASIC coilover" Are these coilovers legit?

Tein Street Basis Coilovers Honda Prelude BB6 97-01 - GSH92-1USS2

Thanks

Re: Tein Basis?

It shows up on the tein website, I would assume they are legit. Same part number as well.

Re: Tein Basis?

Looks good to me. I agree with mobsta, my tein springs were softer than baby skin.

Re: Tein Basis?

Yeah Tien Basic's are quite soft in comparison with other coilovers, but very nice for daily driving. Dont think that they cant give decent handling, I take my 5G on the track and it handles great. Obviously other coilovers are better suited to track action.

I have their BR-type and it works very well and it feels good. Good suspension. Id say that people rate them better than Tein for a reason
