Flashing D4 light on my dash. WTF?

What does this mean? I turned my car off then back on and it didn't flash anymore but the CEL was still on and still is. What does this mean?

Just went to AutoZone and had them pull codes: P0700, P1773, P0505

Re: Flashing D4 light on my dash. WTF?

Where is the solenoid located? And how much for it? Is there anyway I can test to see whether it's bad or not?

Re: Flashing D4 light on my dash. WTF?

po700 code is basically telling u that something is wrong with powertrain(tranny)
p1773 is a code for the valve B selenoid
p0505 is for an idle control system malfunction

po700 will go away if u fix the shift selenoid and also p1773
as for the p0505 id clean throttle body and replace gasket, clean iac valve and go from there. if problem still there look for vaccuum leaks, intake gasket leaks ect...

hope this helps

Re: Flashing D4 light on my dash. WTF?

Try taking the shift solenoid off, remove the screens and clean them with a degreaser. YOu will have to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery fro a few sec to remove the codes. But cleaning the screens will also make shifts crisper. But remember if its clogged, its clogged with metal from the inside of the trans. Its a good indication that your trans is headed for failure. Could be a week, could be 30,000 miles. I went through the same thing about 7-8 months ago. Good luck man.

Re: Flashing D4 light on my dash. WTF?

Is there any sort of write up on how to do any of this? Heck, I don't even know where the solenoid or these "screens". I do have engine degreaser though! I guess that's a start?
