ddm tuning hid kit for 45$ for 35W and 55$ for 55W.
I've had the same kit for over 6 months and they have still run as if they were still out of the box.
HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning

Well I didn't really have a place to mount them, I just zip-tied them to where they would not move around.

Re: PIAA vs HID kit

I'd scoop the HID's since they make a big difference but remember your local laws and see how harsh they are on glare and plug-in HID kits. I picked up a warning ticket so retro-fit was the way to go for me. Can never do halogens again... just such a big difference.

Re: PIAA vs HID kit

I'm sorry for the flash. I didn't know how to remove it.
This is the driver side. I just had it zip-tied on that small metal hook thingy.

The passenger side I just rested it on the side of the air box. I used double-sided tape to keep it from moving.

The depo headlights won't, but the HIDs might.
