Re: suspension question...???

wow, i'm surprised SHDRIVER hasn't come here and called you a fool for wanting to... oh yeah, thats right cuz i banned that smug, condescending tool.

yes, either or will work. if you're looking for just a drop for looks, the skunk2/tokico will do just fine. the drop is 1.8 F , 1.6 R. if you want to try to imagine it, take a ruler or tape measure and measure 1.8 and 1.6 inches down from the top of the wheel well. and that's about roughly where it will sit. 1.5" is a pretty standard drop most people go with. the picture in my sig is about a 1.4" drop. so if you can imagine .2" lower. that would be about the width of say, your pinky finger nail perhaps.

if you're even remotely thinking about wanting adjustment, you should just spring for the F2's. when i bought my first lowering kit i was thinking a few times about buying something with adjustability. well i since sold that kit and got something adjustable. now i want to sell this kit and get something with more adjustability.

as you explore the site more, you'll see some of his condescending remarks. depending on the type of person you are, you'll either shake your head in disbelief or laugh at his ignorance.

Re: suspension question...???

I'm going to be ordering the Function/Form type one hopefully within about a month or so. Heard good reviews on them. I really wanted the BC type BR coilovers but i need to replace all the bushings while i'm changing to the F2's. So the extra $200 plus difference between the 2 is going towards a nice bushings kit.

Here you go $613 shipped. FUNCTION & FORM TYPE I COILOVERS 92-96 HONDA PRELUDE | eBay

Tokico blues are good but don`t offer adjustablility.

I`ve heard good things about the Tokico Illuminas aswell AND they offer adjustability for the price of $462 and just choose your choice of shocks. TOKICO ILLUMINA STRUTS/SHOCKS SET 92-01 PRELUDE | eBay

There also is Koni Yellows they are adjustable aswell. :) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Koni-Yellow-...item483aa86d9c

I have the Function Form coilovers on my 4th gen, and they're fantastic. Rides exceptionally well (for coilovers), and they can go as low as most people want. I'd give them an A-. The only thing I find wrong is the rear springs are a little soft. It rides better like that, but I want them stiffer, lol.

**** man I am about to install some Skunk2 Coilovers and Tokico illuminas, I might hold off until I get a camber kit and some 17's to go with it. I have to drive cross country in March for Jump school in GA and then tact training all the way to San Diego, So I might just wait on the install.

i found an energy bushings kit for $250.00 a couple days ago. It includes all bushings for the suspension. Nice kit, but i think i'll shop around a little more for that, still trying to make peace with myself for passing up on the BC type BR coils...

You got that cap?? Nice! glad I could assist you. Yeah my car is G829, Cypress Green Pearl it was only available from 1996-1998 I think I had a civic this color and I couldn't imagine owning a car any other color. the Prelude green is good, but its a lil too forest green for me.
