CEL flashes, car bogs down or dies

I've recently swapped in an H23A blue top that I kept obd2 because I was moving. I drove about 2k miles in Florida after the swap and only had a CEL for secondary o2 malfunction. So last week I packed up and drove the lude 1700 miles to Colorado. Since I've been here the CEL will randomly flash while driving and car bogs down for a second or occasionally dies. It's done it 5 times in 30 seconds or sometimes once in 10 minutes it's random. If I'm at idle more than 20 seconds the CEL flashes and the car dies. I had the code p1508 IACV circuit malfunction so I tried cleaning the valve and there's no CEL yet but the problem continues. So before spending 200$ on a new iacv would this be the cause of the problem? I keep hearing that a bad valve would mess with idle but not while driving. Just trying to get this fixed asap I can upload a video if needed. Thanks!
