Storage ideas please! and whats the problem??

so a couple things, first off, i'm wondering what you all have to say about winter storage for the lude's. i'm in an '01 prelude. i have the basic things i'm going to do but i'm just wondering if there are any ideas out there that are specifically good when storing the prelude's.
also, i'm wondering if its the master cylinder or the slave cylinder i need to replace. i know that my master cylinder has a really tiny leak in it right now but sometimes when i'm driving the clutch doesn't engage until the very top of releasing the clutch pedal. but then after i get to where i'm going, stop the car and i do whatever i do for a couple hours and i come back out to the car and its fine again - as in, it engages almost uinstantly.
any ideas and help would be appreciated! thanks yall!

keep the tires of of cold concrete.... so leave it on jackstands

remove the battery and put it in a garage.

I personally just put a cover on it and leave it outside. not the best solution since cleaning out the corossion in the bay every spring is a bitch. I also try to start it at least once a week/every other at most.

I used to be in moving and storage. If you can afford it, an inside, heated facility is the best. A full tank of gas with StaBil to prevent moisture from condensing in the tank. If you can stand the smell of mothballs, a pie tin with them in the interior, the trunk and several placed under the hood and these will not only absorb moisture, but will keep most critters away. The alternative is a couple of socks full of charcoal briquets inside to prevent a moisture buildup and the resulting musty smell. You can also use boxes of baking soda or coffee grounds.
If very long term, raising the car on jackstands to prevent flat-spotting of tires is recommended. I prefer to move the car once a month as we did, and also to start the car at a minimum once every two weeks. If you are going to remove the battery (recommended) check with your mechanic as there are varied opinions as to a shot of oil in the cylinders and other possible things two do. You can easily obtain a list of must-do things for long term storage in your area from your local van line(moving) company as this is a regular service for people being moved overseas on job assignments for a year or more. You may have to speak to the person in charge of their international moving program.

All I do is put one bottle of fuel stabilizer in the gas tank (even this is optional) and park it in the driveway all winter. Go out in the Sprig with a booster pack and start her right up. Been doing this for over 15 years and never had one single problem with any of my cars bikes mowers quads etc. Winter is only about 3 or 4 months long. The car is not going to rot away or have the engine seize up in 3 months. All those other steps. Oil in the cylinders jack stands etc are going above and beyond. Feel free to do them if it makes you feel better. But if your car is just sitting for the winter and not all year long you should be fine with just the basics.

And yes I get lots of snow and very cold weather where I live.

This is my Lude buried in my driveway last winter.
