Tire Recommendation

I have a 5th gen SH prelude that needs tires badly. I was thinking of picking up the BFgoodrich KDW 2 but read on the internet that they are very noisy. Is that true? I live in california and don't drive in the snow or ice, once and a while in wet weather. I searched for tire recommendations but most threads seem to be old. Any tire recommendations? Priorities, grips well in dry and good in wet pavement, that are not too noisy.

Re: Tire Recommendation

You might laugh, but have a look at the Firestone Wide Oval Indy 500. I ended up with a set on the Miata by chance, and liked them well enough that I put a set on my son's Audi when it was time to replace his tires. Reasonably priced, stick well in regular driving, and not noisy.

Unfortunately, the Sumitomo HTR200s I have on my Prelude don't come in the stock size for a 5th gen, or I'd have recommended them, too.

Re: Tire Recommendation

ive been very satisfied with the hankook ventus v4es cant beat em for the price..i got some for just over 400 installed with a road hazard warranty

i had a very ****ty experience with bfgoodrich tires. they werent the kdw tires tho they were the g-force super sport a\s avoid those like wet dog poo on the side walk
