No parking lights at all, and its not the fuse.

so the other night i just got in my car turned my lights (1st clic of the lights switch, front and back parking lights and side markers and dashboard lights) on and after a little bit they blinked for a little and then just turned off.

So i, checked all my fused ( under the hood and under the dash) and they are all good. So i figured out that fuse #10 ("tail light" 15A) is what controls all that, but the fuse is good and so is fuse #42 "small lights under the hood.

For now i was able to hock up a wire from day time runing lights fuse slot to the otehr end of fuse #10 so those lights turn on when the ignition is on. but the switch wont do anything.

I have a few question, on that wiring diagram what is multiplex control unit, what does it do, could the problem come from there?

My next thought was a faulty light switch, i found where to test that on the 2nd attachment, how do I go about testing that? do i messure the tention out of pin B5 or do i wire a wire between B5 and A 10 ?

thanks in advance guys

Re: No parking lights at all, and its not the fuse.

I had this problem. Still kind of do. Read this post and it helped me through my search. My problem was a loose wire in the plug where the harness hits the under dash fuse box. Tension on this harness over time loosened the wire in the plug. I need to get a new plug from the junkyard( well used) until I find one I just put tension the opposite direction and wrapped it with electrical tape. If it flickers out I just push in on the plug..... Hope this helps anyone who comes across this.
