Which Motor to Choose for my Prelude????

Im undisided between motors:
either i will pick a H22a7 accord type r, lsd tranny
or just the jdm H22a with a lsd tranny?

I just want to know which would be better? Due to that as of now with my brand new swapped H22a4(90,000kms) burns oil and not the promised HP.

How much oil are you burning, and did you have your car dyno'd?

Where do you guys recommend buying motors from? Seems like everyone has a JDM motor or some significant swap. I NEED RESOURCES lol

a better answer would be how many quarts it burns per how many miles.

some people only drive 50 miles in two weeks. one quart for every 50 miles is something terribly wrong.

other people may drive 1500 miles in two weeks. one quart for every 1500 miles is still not ideal but is nowhere near as bad.

oh and i would opt for a f22 or f23 engine and transmission with turbo setup.

hmotorsonline.com is one of the most reputable engine sellers on the market, a little more expensive than some other places but well worth the piece of mind.

I bought one from JDM Motor Depot and it ran like crap. then it later locked up on me after about a 8 months... if you find your self on that website leave asap lol

oh yeah it was a H22A with less than 40k on it as they say.
