Any Tips on reinforcing my Front bumper? (My Rough Prelude Life)

Hey guys, I still came around with some of my troubled Prelude issues :(

My front bumper had been kind of out of place in the purchase.

This is my left side, and obviously, you see that the end plastic has split,

disabling the ability to hold on to that circular end metal part

In the middle gap, you would probably notice that gouging part in the middle

I noticed the previous owner tried to drill it to settle with the bumper

because the part that connected it was literally torn (plastic part) and I

guess the part wasn't sufficient either.

Any tips to do this?

I have a lot to fix with this car, but I'm trying to take everything step by step....

I basically got the car for 2200$ (Body has 220000, engine 150000)

Salvaged title, like 6~7 accidents haha...

First post was about that ticking sound on,

Replaced my belt and found my left upper wheel shaft rubber lose

So did that all...

Second post was after the replacement.
After driving the highway, I posted a video of that weird sound
(Thankfully after spraying the NAPA SW-40, it hasn't occurred since then,
although I didn't try out the highway yet.. so don't know yet)

Now it's my third post regarding the body...

Some other concerns in mind...
(body, driver side door loose, can only lock from inside, loose door handle,
driver and passenger doors are not auto-connected),

Other than that, I kinda did a lot of stuff I could by myself.
For example, I didn't have a grille on, so I went to Home Depot, put on a
bug screen lol..........doesn't look to bad,.. nobody notices it...:(
I will definitely post my car sooner or later...

Easy fix my friend.

If the entire front bumper is just sagging: (common issue but yours does show the past signs of being hit)
All you need to do is remove the bumper cover and gain access to the actual metal bumper support beneath. There will be (4) bolts holding the support to the car - all you need to do is put washers between the bolt and the body to lift the bumper up more.

As far as the broken corner: (common issue happens to us all)
Get a small (but thick enough) piece of sheet metal and just hondabond or glue however you choose to do it - to the underside of that lip where it's cracked/broken. Then drill out the hole for the bolt to go into the fender and you're good to go :)

Door handle:
common issue with our cars (again) usually there's a tab or something that broke off on the inside. Search around the other prelude forums - there's a writeup on how to temporarily fix this issue.

Where are you located? Maybe a local 'luder would be able to assist you more.

If your cars has been lowered, before making repairs , I would suggest that you return it to stock ride height because bumper damage from the road and incorrect impact points in an accident as well as bondo enhancements are a unfortunate way of life for lowered cars. Its always important to look at the cause and not just the effect when making repairs so that you won't have to experience any further automotive drama in the future.
