H22 ticking/clicking noises under valve cover and cuts out/ sputters at idle/driving

Today, I drove my h22a accord to class today and everything was running fine. When I went to parallel park I started hearing a ticking/clicking noise coming from under the valve cover. I didnt have time to check anything and went to class. An hour later come back and when I start my car the same ticking noise was there. When I pulled out of my parking spot the noise stopped? So I went and drove my car for another 3 minutes and parked and went in to a meeting. 20 minutes later I come back out, start my car and everything is fine. Not even 2 minutes after driving out of the parking lot the engine starts cutting out and starts sputtering and back firing along with the noise coming from under the valve cover that came back. Any sort of acceleration caused the noises even at idle. Somehow I limped it back to my apartment but the entire way could not give it full gas without it cutting out and doing all of the above. I dont think it is my dizzy because it was replaced not too long ago and because of the noises coming from my valve cover. Im thinking one or some of my valves became loose causing the noise and cutting/sputtering. Any ideas or suggestions would be great help. Thanks.
