97 Prelude - Foggy and Cloudy Head Light

Guys,

What going on with my one of my headlight? It appears water or some warm are is getting into it. I don't see any obvious opening nor crack in the light.

Please see pictures below.

The marks wont go away even after the car has sat in sunlight for day.

Thoughts?

Take the headlights apart, wipe off the water on the inside and reseal them so that it wont happen again. That or buy new headlights. Theres write ups for how to take apart your headlights if your not sure how to go about doing it. Hope this helps

Re: 97 Prelude - Foggy and Cloudy Head Light

What I did was I took the headlight out, (which also involves taking off the front bumper, pain in the ass) but I put a hair retire into the back of the headlight for a good hour and made sure I got all the condensation, then I re sealed it and put it all back in. The next day the condensation was back. So I sprayed some hydrogen peroxide into the back of the headlight. And drove the car for about 15 minutes with the plug and headlight diconnected in the back. The condensation disappeared. I put the bulb and all the goodies in the back back in it. And I haven't had a problem since.. Idk if I just got lucky but it worked for me.
