Can anybody identify this sound and how critical it is?

Would anybody know why this sound is occuring? I just replaced it with a new belt yesterday, and after driving over 3000rpm on a steady 70miles, i slowed it down and got this sound coming. I did it spray it with lubricant which killed the sound, but I'm pretty sure it's temporary. any clues?

I really figure I can't spend another fortune replacing the pulley or etc..:(

It almost sounds like the pulley is wobbling and hitting something.

Re: Can anybody identify this sound and how critical it is?

I know; but with the magic lubricant spray can, the sound just miracously disappears. I'm assuming that the pulley or the part connected to it is really rusty, and that's why it returned normal when i sprayed the pulleys(if I have the term right),
If anybody has some relevant experience, please share :(

Agreed, it sounds as if your belts are far too tight. Maybe something is rubbing but i would check the tension first. If they are indeed too tight - you WILL have issues with a failing ps pump and alternator etc.

Re: Can anybody identify this sound and how critical it is?

I just had a similar sound coming out of that same spot ! My crank pulley was too loose and causing it to wobble. I would not drive with that, considering if it falls off then your screwed! just tighten it up and put some loc tite on there and your good to go:)
