Wanting to lower. Budget;options?

I am wanting to lower my car maybe one inch or so. I was thinking of buying coilovers but I blew all my money on something I shouldn't have. lol
So I leaned towards lowering springs, and I'm not very informed on spring brands. What would you guys recommend?
