Re: Intake Manifold

get a euro-r from roskoeracing, they do all the work for you, and theres alot of options, and from what ive heard, you get better gains through the whole rpm band than with a skunk2.

Re: Intake Manifold

personally id rather get the euro r and get power across the entire powerband rather then just at the top.

Rosko is a good guy, he'll set you up with anything you need - the basic setup runs $575 (not sure if that includes shipping or not) Well worth it IMO, just do your research before jumping on whatever you finally decide on!!!

Re: Intake Manifold

Who the fark knows what you need for Gods sake.
You have a intake , header and exhaust that were probably not specifically designed to work with each other or any particular type of intake manifold. So any choice you make on a different type of intake manifold will be nothing more then a from of automotive Russian roulette. Its hard to understand how anyone can make an informed opinion of what you should do with out knowing the characteristics of those aftermarket parts you have already installed and knowing how you use your car. (ex, auto cross track, back road driving, off road ,drag strip, motor cross, grocery getter, etc)

dont listen to this *sshole. he literally has no idea what hes talking about, since his thinks his stock prelude can outperform anything out there. a good example of this is when he said a 3" exhaust hurts horsepower. and we proved to him time and time again it increases horsepower and torque across the entire rpm range

back to your topic. unless youre going turbo, i wouldnt recommend the skunk2. that IM was developed pretty much for a FI build. if you want to stay all motor, get the rosko euro r

The Euro-R Accord (where the Euro-R intake manifold is from) is from what type of motor?

an H22!!! Which, in your eyes makes it a suitable modification in this situation since it is an OEM part from the same general type motor.

that's the equivalent to someone putting a Type S intake in a....

OP: you got the information you needed, as everyone else has said just ignore the comments from the ignorant.

$600.00 plus shipping. But it all depends on what you want Rosko do to the Euro R as for machining wise before he works on it and sends it out to you. So the price may vary a little bit. At least thats how much I pay him to get mine done(68mm Inlet Ported) and ship out.

I'm pretty satisfy and the installation is pretty straight forward. It comes with all hardware to be a straight bolt-on. No waiting for misc to install!

Re: Intake Manifold

euro r isnt bad for boost per say. Its just better with n/a applications in comparison to the skunk2.
