Identify this sound...Transmission issue

Ill explain this as best as possible please ask questions if i dont explain clearly enough. The loudest sound you will hear in the video is me holding the clutch in and having the car in 2nd gear. I switch it to 3rd then 4th and then back to 2nd again. With the car out of gear and the clutch in or out it makes no sound. It is very hard to switch the gears at almost any rpm and even harder to switch gears at high rpm's, even with double clutching and holding the clutch to the floor. Also when holding the clutch in and the car in gear the sound gets faster in tempo with the rolling speed of the car. I had my mechanic change the fluid in the transmission and he said that the fluid smelled like Hypoid gear oil. I am going to drop it off at my mechanic's tomorrow and its going to get fixed regardless but im just wondering what im looking at fixing. Any input is greatly appreciated. Re: Identify this sound...Transmission issue

"A growling or grinding noise when the clutch is engaged may be due to a bad transmission input shaft bearing.
A squealing sound that occurs when the clutch pedal is depressed and held is usually caused by a bad pilot bearing or bushing.
A chirping noise that intensifies when the pedal is slowly depressed would indicate a bad release bearing.
If you hear chirping while idling in neutral and the noise goes away when the pedal is slowly depressed, the fork/pivot ball contact point is making the noise."

This is just general clutch diagnosis I googled. I had a different clutch/trans noise I've been wrestling with lately and have learned a ton reading here and at PP.com. I'm no expert mechanic so take that for what it's worth.

What's intriguing is that the noise doesn't happen with the clutch in or out when it's in neutral but it makes the sound when the clutch is pushed in in gear and with speed. Regardless of whether you are in gear or not, pushing the clutch in (disengaging) makes the Release/Throw-out Bearing push up against the pressure plate. So basically when you push the clutch in that bearing is loaded and spins at engine RPM. That's why it's perplexing why the noise doesn't happen when you're in neutral with the engine still idling. This leads me to think that it could be a trans related problem. Tough shifting could be caused by really badly worn gear synchronizers or maybe your master or slave cylinders may have problems.
The more you think about it, the more that could be wrong haha. After a long and arduous back-and-forth with the shop I went to, I'm getting my '90 lude's D2A4 fully rebuilt for $700.
Whatever works out good luck! And another video couldn't hurt either. One where we can see you shifting and whatnot.
