Hey guys. need some advice...

My lude recently couldn't get into reverse gear, but can go into all the other gears...

What could it be, and if its the box, should i import it down from somwhere? Im located in South Africa so parts are very hard to come by...

might be a stupid question, but did you try letting up on the clutch a little then putting your foot down. do that over and over while pushing it in to reverse at the same time. a few times and it should go in.

granny shiftin not double clutchin like you should!! lol

Re: Lude not able to go into reverse.... :(

if that dont work, with the trans mission out, rotate the input shaft backwards over and over while at the same time using the lvever on the transmission to try and put it in reverse, from 1st to reverse, over and over agian.
oh, will it go in with the engine off? if it only acts up when running and goes right in when off your tans is not the problem

Re: Lude not able to go into reverse.... :(

awesome guys, thanks for all the comments!

funny enough, when i got home after work and tried just that, "rolling the car slightly backwords" it slipped into gear...

But whats still abit alarming, is that the gears feel sticky, but not all the time which is abit wierd. Still gona get it checked out though, and prob would be best to leave her standing till i get her sorted out properly.... Just hope its not the trans, already paying all these bills are killing me, and to get that in this side of the world is hard and expensive...

but again thanks guys #PZpeepsRocks

your gear oil may be broken down. change that fluid.
