Replace the hood or not?

I have a 97 SH with 150k miles that we were planning on selling until my wife hit a deer.

The hood and the deer were the only real casualties.

Do you think it's worth the expense of replacing the hood and getting it painted prior to selling at this point? I would say the car is somewhere between fair and good condition outside of the hood.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Do you have any pictures of the damage?

This thread is useless without photos.

Re: Replace the hood or not?

A badly dented hood may bring in lowballers and cause potential buyers to stray away. I would probably find a decent used hood and have it repainted or if you can find one the same color that would help a lot. If the dent isn't that bad it may be fixable too.
