Someone please help!

Ok, I have an O2 sensor gone on my car and lately its been harder on fuel and what not so im assuming the car is running a bit rich.
Yesterday evening the car started becoming really rough at idle but was ok once i was accelerating.
I figured maybe I was fouling a plug (due to it running rich) so I changed the plugs but the rough idle persisted and now my check engine light is flashing.
From what i gathered this means that i'm misfiring on a cylinder. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
And does anyone know exactly what's causing it? Thanks in advance!

Re: Someone please help!

I would suggest hooking it up to a scan tool just to be positive. Does it accelerate like normal or is it hesitating? I think you should just replace the 02 sensor and go from there.

It accelerates normal, and i have an O2 sensor on the way for it. And it was running fine without the O2 sensor up until yesterday

Does the engine cut off? You changed the plugs, try some fuel injector cleaner. I'm not positive, but that's the next cheapest thing. When was the last time you changed your cap and rotor?

Re: Someone please help!

Im throwing codes:

P0301
P0420
P0135

And the code reader also said something about Fuel system 2 or something like that i cant remember what it was.

Distributor cap, rotor, wires and plugs all seem to be good.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Someone please help!

Oh yeah, it also seems to be hesitating while accelerating now. I thought maybe it could be the EGR valve but wouldn't I throw a code for that?

Re: Someone please help!

Well p0301 is a misfire in cylinder 1 I'm pretty sure p0420 is your 02 sensor and p0135 is 02 sensor heater malfunction it seems like that 02 sensor could be it. Honestly do the 02 sensor check for codes and go from there but it doesn't seem to be something that can't be fixed check out
