Next time, use grammar and punctuation or I doubt you'll get any help.

Yes, you can buy an ECU that has been chipped.

Re: hondata

U cannot use the prelude ecu.. I don't think it can chipped cause it's obd2 and I know u can't put hondata in it.. Use a p28 or p72 that has not been opened up or chipped (called a virgin ecu) then get it chipped and get hondata put in

U cannot just buy an already chipped ecu.. U can get one done a phearable.net but I would never get a previously used one from someone else on like eBay or something.

And some people just get the phearable ecu, put it in and run off the base map... Which makes no sense.. The base map is only there to help out your tuner and save you money.. You aren't suppose to just drive around with it..

If u get the ecu from phearable.. U still gotta buy hondata (phearable has ecus that are hondata ready.. Just put it) and then get it tuned..

If u just buy a virgin ecu then u need it chipped and socketed by your tuner.. This means he will install the ecu and hondata in it.. (if he uses hondata)

Just go talk the person that would tune your car.. Btw I have a p28 with hondata in my car

Phearable sells ecus that are already chipped... I have one in my lude right now. They sold me a chipped p28 that works better on the base map than my stock ecu ran ever.

Yes phearable chips them..

you still need to add something like hondata to it to tune it..

They make the ecu's for whatever mods you have so I'm sure it runs good.. But you still aren't seeing the full potential yet..

I'm sure u could use chrome (free) to tune it

The whole purpose of buying a phearable ecu is so you can TUNE your engine

I guess if you're not boosted or have a crazy setup it should be pretty safe to run on the base map for a long time

I really, really would love to tune it, but I'm flat broke. I know base maps aren't technically meant to be used long-term, but I've got no choice and, like I said, my stock one makes it run worse. I plan to get a Xenocron datalogging cable and Crome basic to toy with it and learn.
