A 5G Prelude SE? You mean SH? I wasn't aware that the 5G had an SE trim

Oh well, welcome man. We're as tightly knit as it gets!

Re: My First Car, a PRELUDE!!!

Nice find! The headlights just need a little cleaning (mine were the same when I got my car ), but the body and paint look flawless. EBP Ludes look crazy nice with a lip kit, if you choose to go that route.

There was an SE trim in Canada and this one has the "Winnipeg" license plate thing, so I would assume the op is Canadian.

Thanks everyone I feel so welcome! Speaking of those headlights streetfoo? I've tried a few things but just can't polish them up!

Show me the lipkit, I just might have to look into it.

Re: My First Car, a PRELUDE!!!

Welcome to Prelude zone bro! Really clean looking EBP you've got. There's definitely some stuff that should be able to help you with the headlight fog…Mother's has got some, I think just about very car product brand has one…..Anyway, you have any plans for it as of yet? Oh, and Kudos on putting good size pictures up on your first post. You're off to a better start that most!

I used a headlight restoration kit by Meguiar's that involved wet sanding by hand then using a plastic polish. It got rid of the haze, but they still have a yellow tint from some angles. I've heard good things about the 3M version, which seems a little more aggressive, so I'll probably be trying that next.

Lip kits can be expensive, but they look incredible on 5th gens. Here are some pics:

Wings West RS:

Many owners do combinations of different lips for a more unique look too. There are replicas around that are much cheaper than buying authentic, but please avoid fiberglass replicas at all costs. I've learned the hard way that they are a nightmare to install in most cases, so I would recommend getting a kit made of polyurethane, which is much more flexible and durable.

Im gonna go out and buy some tomorrow after work and try it out, I will post some before and after pictures when i clean off the headlights. And as far as plans for it, I really do love it just how it is for now, Might purchase a Cold air intake and replace the Chrome door handles as the chrome is starting to chip in the near future.
