Winter Tire Question

Once again i got a question for the great prelude knowledge zone we call preludezone.com

I got a set of 205/60R16 Winter tires W/Rims sitting in my garage (yeah i brought winter up ) and I was thinking as a student working full time that just poured all his money into a prelude could save some money on by just using the tires I already have opposed to buying a whole new set.

I know the prelude comes stock with 205/50R16's so would their be a very noticeable or problematic issue if i used them?

Regards

Re: Winter Tire Question

i'm pretty sure you'll run in to rubbing issues those tires are a bit too tall for a lude.

Re: Winter Tire Question

U already have them? Just try um.. And see if you can turn and go over bumps w/o rubbing... If not get the 50's.. I don't really know bout 16"...

I would definitely get winter tires though if u have wheels you like

Re: Winter Tire Question

Yep yep, just try them out. A rub won't kill them and you can exchange them if they do. Good luck!

Re: Winter Tire Question

All give them a try, I cant really take them back because they are from my brothers cobalt ss and he wont be needing them this winter because he got rid of the lemon. all give them a go and hopefully they will work just fine.
