Icon5 bags on a lude

What do you guys think? I asked the guys at TDC that do alot of my work and they said they liked the idea. I wanna bag my Prelude. Give me your opinions. And if any of you guys happen to have bags on your cars, let me know if you think it was worth the investment. I know for sure i am going to do this, I just wanted to hear what you guys think!

Re: bags on a lude

Personally I would never put bags on my vehicles unless I had a truck or doing a VIP luxury car. If you're building a show car sure but if you plan to track it I don't think it would probably be the best idea.

Re: bags on a lude

If it's for a show car, then it'd be something I'd consider, but if it's daily driven or track car, I wouldn't, cause if 1 bag goes out, the whole system is pretty much screwed.

Re: bags on a lude

^^^^^^^^^^^ Poor Prelude, my buddy has bags on his foxbody. He drives it around raised pretty much all the time. Just remember that you have to do maintenance to the system which is pretty costly.

Not necessarily. Each bag should be on it's own valve. Yeah, it's a pain in the ass when one blows, but that only happens when you do a shoddy job with the install, or overpressurize the f*ck out of them.

I like the idea. Slammed when you want it, sane when you don't.

Re: bags on a lude

True phantom, but you don't want that kit to fail going 55 down the highway. And the p.i.t.a. part is the shoddy job. I would only trust myself and close friends to install that. One under torqued bolt, loose washer, and your done. I liked how Ja Rule's civic rocked the air kit, but for everyday? Uh uh.

We put a bag kit from Universal on my friend's M35. He drives it daily, and it's pretty badass lol.
